In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.

How you'll help us achieve it
We are seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant who is organized, hands-on, and solutions-oriented. You enjoy making things run smoothly behind the scenes and creating a great employee experience.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the HR team on day-to-day operations and play an important part in supporting our people as we rapidly scale our business in Mali.
In this role, you'll;
- Support the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Managers.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.
- Be the focal point for health insurance (incorporations, withdrawals, reimbursements, etc.).
- Follow the end of contracts, probation, and ensure to inform stakeholders.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant supporting data to the HR or Payroll Manager, and process payroll if necessary.
- Process documentation and preparing the reports related to staff activities.
- Coordinate HR projects.
- Make sure all employees have an INPS number and AMO.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree in Human Resources, employee relations or similar field.
- Good Knowledge of the Mali labor law.
- Fluent in French (spoken and written).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets.
