In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.

How you'll help us achieve it
We are seeking a Master Agent Officer who is result-driven, has strong communication skills, and has a proven track record in field operations. You'll be responsible for supporting the Master agents and the admin team with all requests and projects related to them.
In this role, you’ll;
- Manage and support Corporate Master Agents (banks, microfinance institutions, corporate networks).
- Act as the primary point of contact for all operational, liquidity, and support-related requests.
- Ensure smooth execution of bank top-ups, reimbursements, and reconciliations, in close coordination with internal treasury teams.
- Provide structured B2B communication, mainly via email and scheduled meetings, complemented by on-site visits when required.
- Support Corporate partners with contract follow-ups, including coordination on minor adjustments to standard agreements.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to Corporate Masters (tools, product usage, device or application issues, etc.).
- Escalate incidents and do follow-up.
- Coordinate internally to resolve technical bugs, transaction issues, or treasury blocks.
- Track, follow up, and close issues until full resolution, ensuring high service quality.
- Deliver or coordinate training sessions for Corporate teams on Wave tools, processes, and products.
- Identify training needs within Corporate Master organizations.
- Monitor the performance and operational quality of Corporate Master Agents.
- Contribute to improving liquidity availability, reliability, and service standards across the agent network.
- Support projects related to corporate network expansion and quality improvement.
- Participate in and execute projects related to Master Agents.
- Contribute to improving internal processes between Operations, Treasury, and Corporate partners.
- Act as a backup for other Master Agent Officers (especially Corporate & Singleton) during absences.
- Collaborate closely with other Master Agent Officers and the Master Agent Manager to ensure continuity of operations.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by your manager.

- Location: Abidjan; relocation to other cities may be required based on business needs.
- Work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire.
- This is a permanent position.

Requirements
- 2+ years university level.
- Fluent in French, with working proficiency in English.
- Experience in partners relationship, B2B support, customer operations, or field operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, proven ability to write clear, structured, and professional corporate emails.
- Background or prior exposure in fintech, finance, or banking is a strong advantage.
