5.2.3 Startup Tab
The Startup tab allows users to customize the actions Private Information Manager performs when it starts up.
To access Startup:
- Right click on the System Tray icon
 and select Settings from the menu (see Figure 5.13).
- Select the Startup tab as shown in Figure 5.16.
Launch URL
Automatically launch a favorite web site when PIM starts. Specify a URL (internet address, e.g. http://www.wave.com) in this field and PIM will automatically launch the browser to this URL when started. Leave this field blank to disable the automatic browser launch.
Launch Options
Use the Launch Options to modify the behavior of PIM when it starts.
Open Private Information Manager Tab Sheet - PIM with the Tab Sheet is open.
System Tray Only -PIM with the system tray icon only.

Startup
Use the Startup options to define Private Information Manager behavior upon Windows startup:
Run Private Information Manager On Computer Startup - Upon PC startup, PIM is started automatically.
Login On Startup - Upon PIM startup, the user will be prompted to login.
