How to deploy/enable Biolsp on the client
Problem Description:
When you try to login using biometrics into a network enrironment that has EMBASSY Authentication Server (EAS), a client component is required for the Client / Server communication to happen.
You will get the following error when trying to log in using your biometrics:
"An Embassy Trust Suite component required for fingerprint verification on Enterprise Authentication Server is missing or damanged. You will be unable to login into your domain account. To fix this log in as a local Administrator and reinstall or repair the Embassy Trust Suite."
Solution:
In order to enable and deploy BIOLSP on the client a version of EMBASSY® Trust Suite must be installed on the computer. Then you would proceed to run the MSI script: ETS_Hotfix_P0010_1.msi
This is located in the root of the CD in a folder labeled BIOLSP.
After running the script you will be required to restart the client in order to log back in and perform the biometric authentication.
Note: This MSI script can be deployed through GPO or can be executed on the client locally.
Download:
As referenced above, the ETS_Hotfix_P0010_1.msi is located in the root of the CD in a folder labeled BIOLSP.
