4.1.3 Steps to Setup Hard Drive Password
  1. Start the EMBASSY Security Center and select Preboot Manager.
  2. Select Set, next to Hard drive password has not been set, or from the Advanced Settings > BIOS Passwords > Internal Hard Drive Password > Set (see Figure 4.8)
  3. The Create Hard disk Password dialog will be shown (see Figure 4.9) prompting users to enter the password twice in order to set the Hard Drive password, and then press OK.
  4. A message is shown (see Figure 4.10) stating that the system needs to be restarted in order to update the Hard Drive password. Select Yes to restart the computer.
  5. During the bootup process a screen will be displayed as shown in Figure 4.11, where the actual password gets set in the hard drive, choose Modify to set the password.  
  6. Next time the system is restarted you will be prompted to enter the hard drive password as shown in Figure 4.12.
