4.2.3 Steps to Change Hard Drive Password
  1. Start the EMBASSY Security Center and select Preboot Manager.
  2. Select Change, next to Hard Drive password has been set (see Figure 4.13), or from the Advanced Settings > BIOS Passwords > Internet Hard Drive Password > Change
  3. The Change Internal Hard Drive Password dialog will be prompt you to enter the old password and then to choose the new password and enter it twice in order to set the hard drive password, and then press OK.

    Note: In order to clear the system password you will leave the new password empty.
  4. A message is shown (see Figure 4.10) stating that the system needs to be restarted in order to update the Hard Drive password. Select Yes to restart the computer.
  5. During the bootup process a screen will be displayed as shown in Figure 4.11, where the actual password gets modified in the hard drive, choose Modify to set the password.  
  6. Next time the system is restarted you will be prompted to enter the hard drive password as shown in Figure 4.12.
