3.1.1 Steps for Establishing TPM Ownership:
  1. Start the EMBASSY Security Center. If you have not yet established TPM ownership, you will be shown a message (see Figure 3.1) stating that TPM ownership has not been established yet. Press OK to continue.

  3. Select the Owner tab, and click Establish (see Figure 3.2). It will prompt you to enter the password that you want to use for the TPM Owner Password, and then select OK. This is access the security chip and when done, it will display a message stating that the "The ownership has been established successfully" (see Figure 3.3).

    Note: If you go to establish TPM Ownership and the Establish Ownership button is not selectable, it means that the TPM has already established an owner password. If you do not know the password, you should go to the BIOS and reset the TPM password. In order to reset the TPM password you must follow your manufacturer's instructions on how to access the computer BIOS. Please follow the instructions for your particular computer.
