How to clear a Preboot Authentication(PBA) user enrollment:
To clear the PBA Database:
- Open EMBASSY Security Center, then navigate to Advanced, Bios Passwords or enter the Dell BIOS at system startup.
- To clear all the users enrolled for preboot authentication go to the BIOS password and change the BIOS admin password to null (set it to a blank password).
- If the system password is set and the admin password is not set, change system password to null, set the admin password to any value, then change the admin password to null.
- Once this steps have been completed Preboot authentication has been disabled, you will need to renabled it by reenrolling the users that you wish to have Preboot Authentication access.
