I own an Intel Motherboard and have need to reinstall my TPM driver, but I am missing my backup disk. Where can I find a download for this driver?
If for any reason, the software is removed, or you installed a corporate image into the computer, and later on you determine that you need to reinstall the TPM driver you need to go to the Intel website and download it.
Follow the following steps:
- Go to http://support.intel.com/
- Select Browse by Product from the sidebar.
- Select Desktop Boards & Browse by Chipset Type.
- Choose your specific Desktop Board (if your board is not listed choose Archived Desktop Boards at the bottom of the page for a list of older models).
- Click the Latest Drivers link under the Software and Drivers section.
- Choose the relevant Operating System from the dropdown menu.
- Under the drivers section select the link to the TPM driver software.
- You will be brought to a details page with information about the software package. Click on Download and save it to your hard drive.
- Once the file has finished downloading, double-click to run it.
