I own an IBM PC/Notebook and have need to reinstall my TPM driver, but I am missing my backup disk. Where can I find a download for this driver?
If for any reason, the software is removed, or you installed a corporate image into the computer, and later on you determine that you need to reinstall the TPM driver you need to go to the IBM website and download the driver and the TSS.
Follow the following steps:
- Go to http://www.lenovo.com/support/
- Enter the service tag of your computer select your product from the dropdown menu.
- Under the family option, select your model from the dropdown menu and select continue.
- Select Downloads & Drivers.
- In the Refine Results dropdown menu, select Security
- At the bottom of the results, select the most recent TPM driver that applies to your specific computer.
- You will be brought to a details page with information about the software package. Under the File Link section, select the .exe file to download the driver installation file.
- Return to the list of available downloads, and select the most recent Client Security Solution download (this software contains the TSS necessary for the TPM to function properly).
- Under the File Link section, select the .exe file with the description of Client Security Solution to download the software containing the TSS.
- Once the files have finished downloading, double-click to run them.
