I own an HP PC/Notebook and have need to reinstall my TPM driver, but I am missing my backup disk. Where can I find a download for this driver?
If for any reason, the software is removed, or you installed a corporate image onto the computer, and then later on you determine that you need to reinstall the TPM driver, go to the HP website and download the driver and the TSS.
Follow the following steps:
- Go to http://www.hp.com/support/
- Select the appropriate language from the list.
- Check off the Software & Driver downloads button and either enter in your product number, or choose the “Select your product from a list” link and locate your product.
- Select Download Drivers & Software.
- Choose the appropriate Operating System.
- Scroll down to the "Software – Security" section, and find the most recent download HP ProtectTools and Infineon TPM Driver.
- Select Download to download the software.
- Once the files have finished downloading, double-click to run them.
