Running a Program in Windows XP Compatibility Mode
Some older programs cause errors when running with Windows XP. In some cases running the program in Windows XP Compatibility mode will resolve this issue. To run a program in Windows XP Compatibility mode follow these steps.
- Go to START > HELP AND SUPPORT
- Click fixing a problem
- Click Application Software Problems
- Click Getting older programs to run on Windows XP
- Click Compatibility Wizard
- Choose the program you want to run
- Click Next
- Follow the Wizard instructions
