Control your posts and take back your privacy
Today, the majority of online content is submitted as posts on commercial sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. Who’s really seeing the messages you post online? How about 20 years from now? And what about ever-changing privacy policies?
Scrambls, a simple web browser plug-in, lets you decide exactly who sees what you post to the web, including to social networking sites. Whether your concern is privacy, copyright, disclosure, or posterity, scrambls gives you control of your own material. You can even take back a post if you have second thoughts. And it’s a free service from Wave.
Scrambls encrypts your content before it hits the web
First, you define groups of other scrambls users with whom you want to share—staff, partners, suppliers, shareholders, customers, friends … as many as you like. Then you create a key for each post and decide which groups will get it. The key gets stored at a scrambls server. Scrambls encrypts your post before it even leaves your browser, and anyone who doesn’t have a key won’t be able to read it.
If you’re thinking, This would be great for my kids too, you’re not the only one. The Child Safety Network named scrambls the winner of its 2012 National Child Safety Award.
Scrambl email attachments and shared files
Scrambls also works with files. Simply right-click a file or folder, select the group to share with and scrambls creates a protected file that can be easily shipped through the Internet. Your group can open up the original with a click. It’s protection and peace of mind made easy.
Scrambls is simple and flexible
Whether you are an individual, business, medical group, affinity club or media distributer, scrambls can help you control your communications.

We invite you to download the plug-in at www.scrambls.com. There’s a video walk-through there. Once it’s installed, a drop-down box will appear on your browser, and you’ll be able to choose the individuals or groups that can read your posts.
