Software Sales Executive
California; New Jersey/NYC

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Regional sales penetration in commercial enterprise and SMB market
  • Participate in tradeshows and conferences
  • Produce and manage customer presentations, quotes, RFIs, RFPs
  • Call into accounts, map and qualify prospects
  • Target horizontal markets; manage relationships with key prospects
  • Develop and run demos for prospects, develop presentations, adapt sales collateral
  • Prospecting for new business (a hunter), manage the account, set expectations internally and externally and close business on plan
  • Develop and run live- and web-based presentations on the fly
  • Negotiate contracts; close business

Specialized Education/Experience:

  • Have 7-10 (or more) years in application/solution sales within large Enterprise and SMB accounts - both business and IT users
  • Proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota in excess of $1.5M/yr
  • Must have high ethical standards, integrity and a desire to be part of a world-class sales organization
  • Must have strong knowledge of IT security, data protection, authentication, PKI and Network Administration or compliance concepts, as well as the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction
  • Formal sales training a must: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred
  • Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of major accounts contacts
  • Strong background in enterprise solution software required

Engineering - Technical Sales

Sales Engineer
Cupertino, CA; Plainsboro, NJ and Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing technical expertise and support to our Enterprise sales team
  • Developing technical proposals and responses to RFPs
  • Preparing technical presentations, documentation and whitepapers
  • Delivering and implementation on contracts
  • Implementing development and integration at customer sites

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of, and experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, PC system and network security, biometrics, cryptography, smart cards and public key infrastructure (PKI) is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent) and a minimum of five years technical experience.
  • Knowledge of, and/or experience with, current trends in "Trusted Computing"
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Self-starter who has the ability to work independently to achieve results.
  • Experience with contracts,  management SOWs.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%).

Product Management

Senior Product Manager – Enterprise Server Software Specialty
Cupertino, CA

Primary Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for activities associated with the development and marketing of new products and services with a focus on enterprise management of trusted platforms.   Activities include developing marketing requirements documents, managing engineering project deliverables, SOWs, PRDs, MRDs, marketing brochures, whitepapers, competitive analyses, presentations and the like to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.   This position performs market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs, implementing product specifications and deliverables to the sales team.  This position interfaces heavily with Engineering, Technology Partners, Sales, Marketing and partners/customers and, at times, performs product demonstrations and training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Six or more years of experience in product management and marketing or related field with the proven ability to develop quality products on time
  • Two years experience managing enterprise class software products.
  • Four years experience with software security technologies including PKI, data encryption and biometrics
  • Four years experience with Microsoft Server technology and Active Directory
  • Four or more years of experience with the high technology industry, specifically enterprise client management
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle and engineering lifecycle processes
  • Knowledge of technical software development is required for collaboration with engineering throughout the product lifecycle
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix management style
  • Proven capability in creating and delivering business presentations
  • A Bachelor's degree is required (preferably technical)

The following qualifications are not required, but will be instrumental in evaluating a candidate for this position:

  • Sales support, business development, marketing, or software engineering experience
  • Industry experience in finance, healthcare, government, or other major industry
  • An MBA degree
